Bhutan was welcome by General Secretary of Bahrain Tennis Federation in the First Davis Cup Tournament.

The following nine nations will compete in Asia/oceania group lV in Bahrain. Cambodia, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Bhutan, Singapore, Kuwait, Laos, Guam and Bahrain. 

There will be two group of 5 teams each. The winners of each group will play-off to determine which nation is promoted to Asia/oceania group lll in 2023.

Pool A - Coambodia, Turkmenistan, Mongolia and Bhutan.

Pool B- Singapore, Kuwait, Laos, Guam and Bahrain
