Criteria for new recruit coach of BTF



The incumbent will work under the general supervision and guidance of the General Secretary, in collaboration with the National Tennis Coach as follows.

1. Should have minimum of 12 standards and above, priority will be given to Bachelors' degree holder with IT Level 1 from a recognized Institute/College.

2. Possess basic coaching skills e.g. ITF Level 1 or equivalent or have attended level 1.

3. Should have good verbal and visual communication skills

4. Should be willing & able to work with players of all abilities.

5. Working with students/players and successfully handle the responsibility of maintaining discipline.

6. Have dynamic personality with innovative ideas and strong motivational skills. 

7. Ability to identify the talented players

8. Should be willing to work in any part of the country.

9. Will be placed on probation for an initial period of 1 year.

10. On completion of probation period, if found capable of discharging the entire work, service will be regularized and salary fixed based on civil service grade.

11. Committed to work apart from afternoons, evenings and weekends.

12. Applicants age has to be at least 18 years and above

13. Discharge any other responsibility as directed by Secretary General/National coach with a view to take on gradually increasing duties of the post of national coach.

14.The TOR for the selected individuals will be drawn with BTF.
