Bhutan Tennis Federation is thrilled to announce our participation in the ITF Asia 12 and under Team Competition 2023, a prestigious South Asia Regional Event organized by the Bangladesh Tennis Federation. Representing Bhutan with immense pride, we have carefully selected four players who will showcase their skills on the international stage. Leading the team as our Captain is the talented Kinley Wangchuk, the Head Coach of Phuntsholing. 

Girls Team:

1. Kelzang Lhatsho Tshering, 12 years old - Lungtenzama Middle Secondary School

2. Sangay Lhazin, 11 years old - Phuntsholing Primary School

Boys Team:

3. Kuendhen Rigsel Dorjee, 12 years old - Phuntsholing Primary School

4. Jamyang Pelden Tashi, 12 years old - Phuntsholing Primary School

 The event will be held from 14th May to 21st May 2023, and it promises to be a week full of intense competition, sportsmanship, and incredible talent from South Asia's rising tennis stars. 

We would like to express our gratitude to the Bangladesh Tennis Federation for organizing this remarkable event sponsored by the International Tennis Federation and Bhutan Olympic Committee that provides young Bhutanese players with an opportunity to showcase their skills and learn from each other. 

Good luck to all the teams participating, including our fellow competitors from Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Let's come together and make this tournament a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved!
