The Bhutan Tennis Federation is pleased to announce that the 6^th Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel National Open Tennis Championships 2024 will be held at the National Tennis Center, Thimphu, from August 3 to 11, 2024.

Tournament Committee

Tournament committee comprises of the following:-

The Committee will meet regularly to make the seeding, conduct the draw and settle any disputes that may arise during the tournament. 

The draw

The draw will be conducted by the Tournament Committee the evening preceding the first day of play and every reasonable effort should be made to ensure that all representatives are present.

Entry fee

Each player will pay Nu.1,000 (Ngultrum One Thousand) as entry fee for every event they participate in.

Players who do not pay the entry fee(s) on or before the tournament draw, preceding the first day of the play, will be disqualified from the tournament. This is to ensure minimum disruptions to the tournament.

Tournament conditions

All matches will be played best of three tie-break sets.  

Scoring system: Normal scoring system will be enforced throughout the match.

Singles events

This event will be a maximum 32 draw with eight seeds. The singles will be conducted on a knock out format.

Doubles pairings

Will be done on Lucky draw, registered players are welcome during the draw.

 Registrations will close on 2nd August 2024 at 3pm
